HL Travel will make an additional charge of 50% for bookings that take place from 00.01 Christmas Day through Boxing Day and 00.01 New Years Day through to 06.00 on the 2nd January 2025.
Whilst HL Travel will cover the cost of the Bridge and Tunnel crossings, we cannot cover the Congestion costs, therefore charges will be made for the Congestion Zones as and when applicable. These will be at the discounted price of £15.00. Please see our Prices page for when these extra charges will apply.
All payment methods (e.g., Debit/Credit Cards, cash, BACS transfers, and PayPal) are accepted. American Express (AmEx) is not accepted.
A small deposit may be required. Customers requiring a deposit refund must email HL Travel directly within 48 hours, stating the reason why. Medical reasons must be supported by documentation from your doctor.
Balance must be paid using any of the accepted methods, directly to the driver on completion of your journey.
We will email you a booking form once you have given us your booking. Once you have completed all your booking details on the form and printed your name at the bottom, please return email back to HL Travel for us to check. We will then email a you as confirmation of your booking. This is to protect you, the customer and HL Travel against any problems that may later arise.
Once you have done this, any unforced errors in your booking such as adding more luggage than originally stated on the Booking Form, wrong date (outward or return), or wrong airport for return pickup will not be the responsibility of HL Travel and will rest solely with the customer, being chargeable.
If HL Travel turns up at the airport on the return date, parks up, and goes inside to meet you, only to find out that the flight has been rediverted to another airport, the original return charge still stands unless HL Travel is made aware of this at the earliest possible moment. If we are not made aware, then an extra charge from the new location will be added. This extra cost can and should be claimed back from the airline due to unforeseen circumstances causing you to be rediverted to another airport. HL Travel will provide you any receipts you may need that shows you have paid the original cost and the new one due to the divert.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are required to go to immigration upon arrival in the UK, HL Travel is within its rights to charge waiting time at £10 per hour, as we could be waiting for hours.
HL Travel will not be held responsible for unforeseen delays on your outward journey.
In the event of a breakdown while on our way to collect you or during the journey, plans will be in place to get you to your required destination. You will not be charged for your outward journey, but you may be charged more for a substitute taxi. HL Travel will not be responsible for that extra charge, but you will get a full refund if paid in advance.
In the event of a breakdown preventing us from collecting you from the airport or cruise terminal, plans will be in place to get you home. You will get a full refund for any money paid. HL Travel will not be responsible for the cost of a substitute taxi.
In the event of adverse weather preventing HL Travel from picking you up or collecting you, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. This is beyond our control, and the client will need to make their own arrangements to get to or from the location. Any payments made for transportation with HL Travel, will be fully refunded. HL Travel will not be liable for any charges incurred for onward travel.
A charge of £80 will be added to your transportation price in cases of sickness in the car (for valeting and loss of work). A £10 charge will suffice for drink spillage on the seats.
HL Travel will store child seats for you during your holiday and will bring them with us for your return.
HL Travel is not responsible for fitting them in or removing them from the vehicle.
HL Travel would like all our customers to know that we will always try to send unmarked Private Hire cars.
In the event of this not always being possible, we will send the next available car to you rather than let you down as getting you to your destination and back again is our main priority.
